~COMMUNITY COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITY IN USA~

Community Colleges (Associate Degree Program)

Community colleges offer a wide variety of course and programs where students can earn an Associates Degree in two years making them eligible for transfer to University.
Students can choose to study for two years within a certain field in order to receive an Associate Degree.
This degree forms the foundation of a Bachelor Degree by allowing students to complete all of the general education requirements prior to transfer to a four year university.
A student obtaining an Associate Degree will have his/her classes counted towards the Bachelor Degree requirement. Practically this means that a student does the final two years of the Bachelors Degree at University after having completed the first two at Community College.
Some of our community colleges have arrangements with universities that will offer students that have obtained an Associate Degree guaranteed acceptance into their Bachelors Degree programs.

Graduate and Masters Degree Program

A Masters degree is an academic degree granted to individuals who have undergone study demonstrating a mastery or high-order overview of a specific field of study or area of professional practice. Postgraduate studies usually lead to a Masters degree and many universities in the United States offer graduate programs in wide range of field.
These specialist fields include Business, Management, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Leadership and core research work in other practical areas.
Admission to a masters program normally requires holding a bachelors degree (in the United Kingdom, Canada and much of the Commonwealth, an 'honours' bachelor degree), although relevant work experience may qualify a candidate. In some cases the student's bachelors degree must be in the same subject as the intended masters degree, or in a closely allied discipline; in others, the subject of the bachelors degree is unimportant.
