- FOCUS GERMANY PROFESSIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
Within the framework of our Focus Germany programme, we offer a range of tailor-made research and practical training seminar programs for delegations of Students and Specialists from around the World including visits to international companies as well as to ministries, public authorities, educational establishments, consumer organizations and other related institutions.
The programme covers innovative aspects of German economic life, society and state-of-the-art industry and technology which have traditionally enjoyed worldwide renown. Such visits may also be coordinated to coincide with important international trade fairs taking place in Germany.
A particular focus is placed on environmental issues, sustainability and corporate social responsibility in German industry, as these are considered to be essential for the future peaceful development of the world economy.
In each of the modules, we elucidate the theoretical (30%) and practical aspects (70%) of the particular focus theme. The standard length of the course is 1 week but this may be extended to 4 weeks.
It is also possible to conclude the 4-week course with a paper given on one of the focus topics, recapitulating the theoretical and practical insights gained. The papers are presented to the group at the end of the course and may possibly be accepted for credits at the university in the student's home country.
